Dental Impression Required
 Yes you do need to have a dental impression made as our FX Dentures are hand created to only fit your mouth, based off of your dental impression.
You will not get your stone impression back as the creation process destroys the impression. If you are only having top teeth dentures made, then you only need to have an upper impression done - we do not need your lower teeth and jaw line unless you are having lower dentures made.
NOTE: If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, you can call the office (415.508.4225) to see if any available appointments are possible for an f/x Dental Impression with Steve Johnston and/or his staff. Given the busy time of the Halloween Season, impression appointments may not be available, please also consult with your local dentist.
If you can not get a dental appointment in your area to have a dental impression made, you can also visit the Vampire Dentures Bookstore for purchasing what you need to make your own dental impression stone positive. Please understand that your prosthetic dentures are crafted directly from the stone positive, so if the stone you mail to us is incorrectly made or missing gumlines, palate, etc. your dentures can not be made or will not fit correctly. If you are not sure how to make a dental impression stone positive, please have your dentist make the impression.
Custom Denture Creation
Unlike buying plastic or rubber teeth which rock around in your mouth, rubbing on your gums, slipping out, filling with saliva and making it impossible to speak, having custom fitted dentures means the prosthetic fits your mouth PERFECTLY - No slipping, no fluid collection, and no bouncing around. Because each and every denture is hand sculpted in clay on your dental impression and cast in hard dental acrylics, the denture slides over your existing teeth, directly to your gumline and to the roof of your mouth just behind your front teeth. This creates absolute realism and is what you have seen in classic horror movies, stage productions and television. The denture is sealed in a high grade dental gloss which leaves the prosthetic always looking wet, just like your existing teeth, creating a perfect line of beautiful teeth. We use a shade of acrylic that matches most teeth without issue, so expensive and timely color matching is not needed!
 All of our dentures are one piece, meaning we do not manufacture caps that can get lost, broken or swallowed. There is a small bridge connecting each individual prosthetic tooth, creating a single wearable denture! The picture to the right is an example of the New Orleans style of denture showing a bridge from behind.
Ordering Your Custom Dentures
Please understand that we are not Dentists, but special effect artists, and therefore do not manufacture custom dental bridges for people needing reconstructive or functional dentures. You must have your existing teeth without wires, bracers or retainers to purchase our dentures.
Please choose from the following styles. All images shown are examples of what the style of denture is based on. Because each set is hand sculpted and follows your existing teeth, gumlines and mouth shape, no two dentures are alike - EVER! This further guarantees the absolute realism as the denture matches the existing shape and curve of your real teeth, gums and mouth.
The web site utilizes the Corporate Pay Pal shopping cart system, allowing you to place multiple items in your basket and checkout when you are ready. You do not need a Pay Pal account to use this system.
Adding a Rush Order
If you need your dentures created in a specific amount of time, you may add one of the following rush order amounts to your shopping cart for a faster turn around time. The average denture takes 5 to 7 business days to create, package and ship out. The rush option moves your order to the top of the production line and expedites your dentures based on the rush order placed. This does not count as shipping time - ONLY production time. Contact Vampire Dentures directly if you need to have a different shipping method or time frame for delivery. The rush option prices are in ADDITION to the denture price.

Our Most Popular Style for the last 12 years! The New Orleans Dentures sports 4 fangs in total, with the canines longer than the incisors. This is the same style used when we did the makeup effects for the Interview Stage Show! The 4 dentures are connected by a small bridge running behind the front teeth creating a single appliance. You may have seen this very similar style in a famous fun vampire film from the late 1980s in a small coastal California town... This style was made famous in many Eastern European Vampire Legends and in some of the earliest vampire silent films.
